Pinellas County Schools issued the following announcement on March 22.
¡FELICIDADES! The St. Petersburg High State Spanish Conference Team placed first at the Florida State Spanish Conference in Orlando.
The team received a Sobresaliente, or an Outstanding, which is the highest score possible, for their drama performance of El Delantal Blanco by Sergio Vodanovic.
Eight of the SPHS Impromptu Speech competitors received a Sobresaliente, another eight of the Impromptu Speech competitors received a perfect score, and six of the Poetry Declamation competitors received a perfect score. #PCSProud
