City of Dunedin recently issued the following announcement.
Director of Public Works Paul Stanek said residents and businesses will notice a gradual reduction in the hardness of their water as the water in the City’s pipes is flushed through.
Although the plant is producing softer water now that the Reverse Osmosis (RO) process has been repaired, the water plant is not yet at full capacity.
The City is still asking residents to do their best to conserve water.
Dunedin’s Water Treatment Plant was damaged by a fire on September 30th. Long-term restoration efforts will continue to restore the plant to pre-fire conditions.
