Pinellas County Schools issued the following announcement on August 5.
A FRESH START: Bardmoor Elementary has gained a new educator all the way from Delaware. First-year teacher Abbey Macha will begin her teaching journey with PCS, working with students with autism. While this year may bring the unexpected, Abbey is ready for anything.
"It's important to remain positive but you do never know what's going to happen, you kind of just have to roll with it," Abbey told ABC Action News - WFTS - Tampa Bay.
