Tarpon Springs home prices rose in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Tarpon Springs rose by $55,050 while total sales increased by 33.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 99 homes sold, with a median sale price of $310,000 - a 21.6% increase over the $254,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 74 homes sold in Tarpon Springs in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Tarpon Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,213, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
