Central Florida College issued the following announcement on Oct. 22
CenterState Bank recently made a $2,000 donation to help College of Central Florida students through the CF Foundation’s Patriot Fund.
“We have a strong commitment to our community and by helping students succeed only makes Marion County stronger,” said Rusty Branson, CEO of CenterState Bank.
The CF Foundation Patriot Fund addresses a variety of students’ needs — from food insecurity and medical bills to technology, auto and housing assistance. Support from this fund sometimes means the difference between a student completing their CF education or not.
“Our success is due to such great community partners such as CenterState, and this important support is critical to ensuring our students stay on track,” said Dr. Jim Henningsen, CF president.
