Tarpon Springs home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Tarpon Springs rose by $31,000 while total sales decreased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 198 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 13.5% increase over the $229,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 207 homes sold in Tarpon Springs in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Tarpon Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,270, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
