On Saturday, April 5, former East Lake High School standout Cassidy Patterson’s current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tampa Spartans.

The game took place at NSU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against Saint Leo Lions.
