On Saturday, Feb. 8, former East Lake High School standout Cassidy Patterson’s current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at NSU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at NSU Softball Stadium against Colorado Mines Orediggers.
