On Friday, Jan. 31, former East Lake High School standout Cassidy Patterson’s current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Chaparrals this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against Rogers State Hillcats.
