On Saturday, March 29, former East Lake High School standout Reece Marley’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The game took place at McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field. This was their third matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Illinois Field against Illinois State Redbirds.
