On Sunday, Feb. 9, former East Lake High School standout Cassidy Patterson’s current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mines Orediggers.

The game took place at NSU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Orediggers this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. at Buccaneer Softball Field against Barry Buccaneers.
