On Saturday, March 8, former East Lake High School standout Cassidy Patterson’s current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.

The game took place at NSU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at NSU Softball Stadium against Kutztown Golden Bears.
