On Sunday, Feb. 2, former East Lake High School standouts Cooper Nelson and Nathan Norwood’s current college team, the Eckerd Tritons, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Albany State Golden Rams.
The game took place at Golden Rams’ Field at West Campus. This was their third matchup against the Golden Rams this season.
The Tritons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at John Kurtz Field against Georgia Bobcats.
