City of Safety Harbor issued the following announcement on Dec. 4

Christmas Closures: 

All City of Safety Harbor facilities will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2020 and Friday, December 25, 2020 for the Christmas holiday.

In addition to these closures, some facilities will have modified hours.

Museum & Cultural Center – Wednesday, December 23, Closing at 3:00 PM

Rigsby Recreation Center – Wednesday, December 23, Closing at 3:00 PM

Safety Harbor Public Library – Saturday, December 26, Closed

Trash and Recycling:

Wednesday, December 23, yard waste suspended; Friday’s recycling collected 

Thursday, December 24, recycling collection will happen as usual

New Year’s Day Closures: 

All City of Safety Harbor facilities will be closed Friday, January 1, 2020 for New Year’s Day.

In addition to these closures, some facilities will have modified hours.

Community Center – Thursday, December 31, Closing at 6:00 PM

Museum & Cultural Center – Thursday, December 31, Closing at 3:00 PM

Rigsby Recreation Center – Thursday, December 31, Closing at 3:00 PM

Safety Harbor Public Library – Thursday, December 31, Closing at 3:00 PM

Trash and Recycling:

Wednesday, December 30, yard waste suspended; Friday’s recycling collected 

Thursday, December 31, recycling collection will happen as usual
