Each year, for the past 10 years, Florida Power & Light (FPL) has hosted an invitation-only conference with site selectors, economic development leaders and state agencies to strengthen economic development programs in Florida. This year, the FPL Illumination Summit was held at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, and the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber was invited to join Flagler County and City of Palm Coast economic development leaders. The Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa wowed attendees with both their exceptional property/accommodations and food. FPL Illumination Conference attendees heard from soon-to-be Florida Senate-confirmed Secretary of Commerce Laura DiBella (President & CEO, Enterprise Florida). DiBella shared her vision for her role and committed to being accessible and supportive of economic development efforts and officials throughout the state.

Later during the conference, site selectors and economic development leaders discussed strategies, economic outlook and more with each other. The Chamber is thankful for the invitation and opportunity to attend FPL’s Illumination Conference and will continue to work directly with City of Palm Coast and Flagler County officials to strengthen local economic development efforts.
