On Sunday, Feb. 2, former East Lake High School standout Cassidy Patterson’s current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Alabama Tigers.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. at NSU Softball Stadium against East Stroudsburg Warriors.
