PINELLAS COUNTY – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has received a contract from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for DUI Enforcement.

The contract will be utilized to fund DUI enforcement in Pinellas County, with an objective of decreasing impaired driving crashes and impaired driving fatalities countywide.

From December 9, 2022 through September 30, 2023, Pinellas deputies will be conducting high-visibility saturation patrols throughout Pinellas County. During the saturation patrols, deputies will be searching for impaired drivers and other traffic violations.

The locations of these saturation patrols will be in areas known for impaired driving activity and traffic violations, dependent upon activities occurring in the community.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will continue DUI enforcement throughout the year.
